The Member Assistance Fund (MAF) was established to provide financial support to qualified school board members and school corporation employees who are interested in attending ISBA events but may face financial barriers. Assistance is open to any ISBA member in need, including those without institutional support for professional development opportunities. Applications for funding assistance for ISBA seminars should be submitted 30 days prior to the event. If approved, individual applicants will receive an award covering 50% of the registration fees, up to $1,500 per individual per year. For the Annual Fall Conference, applications should be submitted by July 1. Approved applicants will receive an award of $350 – $325 toward Fall Conference registration and $25 for parking.
