At the midway point of the 2025 legislative session, the ISBA bill tracking list has been pared down to 36 House bills and 33 Senate bills. The ISBA lobbying team testified in person on more than 20 bills during the first half of the session, while monitoring dozens of additional bills and assorted amendments. As a reminder, ISBA will continue to send out our weekly legislative update email and Top 3 Things to Know Video Update every Friday for the balance of session. The House and the Senate are scheduled to reconvene on Monday, March 3, at 1:30 p.m. The last day for Third Readings is Tuesday, April 15. The session is scheduled to conclude on Tuesday, April 29. ###
