Dr. Robert Stwalley, school board member for the Lafayette School Corporation, has been named Chair of the Board of Directors of the national Consortium of State School Boards Associations (COSSBA). Dr. Stwalley will serve a one-year term as chair of COSSBA for 2025-2026. Dr. Stwalley has served on the Lafayette School Corporation Board of Trustees since 2003. He led the Indiana School Boards Association (ISBA) as president of the ISBA Board of Directors from September 2019-September 2021 and has served on the ISBA Board for 15 years. Founded in 2022, COSSBA supports state school boards associations and local school board leaders through training, information, and resources. Dr. Stwalley was a member of the transition team which formed and guided COSSBA through its incorporation. ###
