The Indiana School Boards Association is saddened to learn of the passing of former ISBA Executive Director Wendell Jack Peterson, who led the Association from 1975-1988. A native of Linton, Indiana, he held multiple roles in education at the local level prior to joining ISBA, including teacher, principal, assistant superintendent, and superintendent of schools. Later, he led the Arizona School Boards Association from 1991 to 1998. His obituary is available here. ###
